Alex Rodriguez knows he can’t sing like Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony

Alex Rodriguez left the singing to the professionals on Wednesday, when he joined fiancée Jennifer Lopez and her ex-husband Marc Anthony for their son Max’s school recital in Miami.

Sitting between Anthony and Lopez as Max and his classmates sang “I Will Always Love You” (and Max’s parents hammed it up), Rodriguez quipped on Instagram, “Those who can, do. Those who can’t, sit between two people that can and stay quiet!”

The former Yankees superstar, who proposed to Lopez back in March, also posted a photo of the recital’s program, which highlighted Max’s solo of Shania Twain’s “You’re Still the One.”

Lopez — who shares 11-year-old Max and his twin sister Emme with Anthony, whom she divorced in 2014 — also gushed about her son’s performance on her Instagram story.

Anthony, 50, also attended Emme’s dance recital last summer alongside Lopez, 49, and Rodriguez, 43.

Following Max’s big day, Rodriguez readied for another exciting life event: daughter Natasha’s middle school graduation.

“Have you ever woken up and your little baby graduated middle school, on the way to high school,” Rodriguez said to his 2.8 million Instagram followers. “I’m headed to graduation right now, my little baby is going to be a freshman in high school next year. I’m excited and nervous and I don’t know what.”

Natasha, who Rodriguez shares with ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis, along with his other daughter, Ella, served as the student government president of her Miami school. After the ceremony, Lopez also congratulated the graduate.

“So proud of this sweet girl,” she posted.

Rodriguez and Scurtis were married from 2002 to 2008.
