There were rumors Becca Kufrin and Garrett Yrigoyen broke up. The former star of The Bachelorette has confirmed it’s true and denied multiple rumored reasons behind the breakup.

Garrett Yrigoyen received backlash for his post during Black Lives Matter movement

There were many protests after the murder of George Floyd. The Black Lives Matter movement addressed needing justice for this murder.

Yrigoyen responded by posting support for the police on Instagram. “With so many friends and family in law enforcement I couldn’t sit back and not support them and the hundreds of thousands of men and women of all races that represent this Thin Blue Line as well,” he wrote in the caption.

People part of the franchise responded to his post. Kufrin eventually addressed this on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast.

“Garrett is my fiancé and I love him and to his core, I believe that he is a good person,” she said. “What he posted … I don’t align with and I don’t agree with.”

Fans long believed the couple was done for good. One reason is that Rachel Lindsay publicly dissed Yrigoyen.

“I think he’s a piece of sh*t, and I have said to her, ‘I will not f*ck with him,” Lindsay said on Everything Iconic with Danny Pellegrino. “He has doubled down on his beliefs. This isn’t the first time he’s had problematic behavior. When he was on the season, he had a history of liking things that were racist, sexist, homophobic, calling the Parkland students child actors, it was a lot, so this is who this man is. And he’s a piece of sh*t to me.”

Fans wondered if this meant the couple broke up. Or if it meant Lindsay’s friendship with Kufrin is over.
