Candice Brown found fame after winning The Great British Bake-off back in 2016. Tonight she will appear on a food and drink special of Celebrities Pointless where she will battle the other celebrities in guessing a pointless answer. But what why did the GBBO winner split with husband Liam?
Why did Candice and husband Liam Macauley break up?
Last month it was reported Candice and her husband Liam Macauley had separated.
At the time a representative for Candice told The Mirror: “I can confirm Candice and Liam separated earlier this year.”
Candice also confirmed their split to HELLO! and said: “Liam and I split earlier this year. It is a very sad time for both of us.”

It is not known why the couple chose to split, however, Liam has spoken about the end of his relationship.
Liam told Mail Online: “There is nobody else involved, we have just sadly decided it wasn’t working.
“My wife is a lovely woman and a wonderful human being, and I could never find anything detrimental to say about her.
“I am not the famous one, no one is interested in me. I am a tree surgeon from Scotland and I make my own living.”
Candice and Liam are reported to have first met at a bar Liam was working at while he studied for his arboriculture degree.
Liam popped the question in 2017, and the couple later spoke of their engagement to HELLO!.
Candice said: “I get emotional. Because it’s been such an amazing year. I feel very lucky.
“I’ve had such incredible opportunities – GBBO opened so many doors – and to top it off he puts a ring on it.”

Talking of how Liam proposed Candice revealed she said yes in car park.
She told the magazine: “He reached into the glove compartment, got out the ring, got down on one knee and said, ‘I love you, you are my world. Will you marry me?'”
Liam added: “So I proposed in a car park. But it really meant something to us.
“Candice just cried for five minutes before she could say, ‘Yes!”
Candice and Liam tied the knot in 2018 after they had been together for five years.
They renewed their vows last year during an intimate ceremony in Thailand.
Candice will appear on a food and drink special of Pointless Celebrities tonight on BBC One at 7.55pm.
