Coleen Rooney laden with bags in last-minute Waitrose dash for Christmas
The Rooney family appears to be all set for the Christmas period as Coleen Rooney was spotted loading up on last-minute shopping ahead of the festivities.
Coleen, 34, was seen leaving her local Waitrose in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, wearing a black face mask and laden down with groceries for herself, Wayne Rooney and their four sons, Kai, Klay, Cass and Kit.
Making sure to look after the environment at the same time, Coleen’s shopping was in jute bags from the store, which she wrestled with as she got the lot out of her trolley and into her car.
Despite the rush of shoppers right before Christmas, Coleen opted to do the big shop in person rather than getting it delivered and is often seen shopping at the supermarket near to where she lives.
This year has also seen Coleen’s legal team face Rebekah Vardy’s in court, over Coleen’s post last year claiming Rebekah leaked stories about her to the press.
Rebekah, 38, hinted this week that there might be a resolution to the ‘Wagatha Christie’ court case on the horizon.
She told Hello magazine: ‘The new year could potentially see a resolution between us. I’m pretty sure the public are sick of reading about it, too.’
The Dancing On Ice star has always denied the claims it was her who leaked fake stories Coleen had planted on her private Instagram story, which she claimed was restricted to be viewed only by Rebekah’s account.
There was also some happier news in the Rooney household this year, as it appears Wayne and Coleen’s 11-year-old son Kai will follow in his famous father’s footsteps as he’s signed a contract with Manchester United.
Wayne, 35, spent 13 years at the club and was over the moon to see his son already making waves for his footballing talents.
Sharing a snap of the contract being signed, Wayne wrote: ‘Proud day. Kai signing for Manchester United. Keep up the hard work son.’
