Spencer Morgan, 28, has hit out at Meghan Markle, 40, on Twitter over the weekend by dismissing her claim of racism from the Royal Family as being “divisive nonsense”. The son of former Good Morning Britain host, Piers Morgan alleged “every family on earth” wonders what a baby will look like when it is born, following the Duchess Of Sussex’s claim to Oprah Winfrey that her son, Archie Harrison Windsor-Mountbatten, was denied the title of prince in tandem with conversations about “how dark” the youngster would be when born.

The disagreement began on Twitter after Piers responded to Jeremy Clarkson, 61, when the former Top Gear host claimed Meghan Markle’s decision to not name the royal member who commented on her son Archie’s skin colour because it was “too damaging” may be false.

The motor expert instead alleged that a source had informed him it was “not actually a member of the Royal Family” who had made the remark referenced by the Duchess Of Sussex during her interview with Oprah Winfrey back in March.

Jeremy typed: “It was claimed this week that Harry and Meghan Markle chose not to name the ‘royal racist’ who wondered out loud what their baby would look like, because it would be too damaging.

“Hmmm. If my sources are correct, the real reason they didn’t name the person might have something to do with the fact that they are not actually a member of the Royal Family,” he added in his The Sun column.

In response to Jeremy’s allegations, Piers added his opinion in view of his 7.9 million followers.

He wrote: “Fascinating snippet from ⁦@JeremyClarkson⁩ today.

“I suggest the Sussexes clarify who exactly said the supposedly racist comment ASAP. “

Spencer proceeded to retweet his dad’s remarks and typed: “You know who else wonders what a baby might look like? Every family on planet earth. Divisive nonsense.”

In a landmark interview with Oprah earlier this year, both Meghan and her husband Prince Harry revealed their discontent at a number of issues within the palace.

The Duchess of Sussex described the Queen as being “really welcoming” in one part, however, she also discussed how she felt upset after her son Archie Harrison Mountbatten was not made a Prince.

She claimed that there were multiple conversations and concerns about “how dark” her son’s skin colour would be.

The statement left Oprah looking visibly shocked during their discussion.

The host asked who made such a statement, however, Meghan would not reveal who it was, saying it would be “very damaging” to their reputation.

But she replied by saying there were “several conversations” surrounding her child’s complexion.

Meghan shared: “In those months, when I was pregnant, all around this same time, we had in tandem the conversation of he won’t be given security, he won’t be given a title.

“And also concerns and conversations about how dark his skin will be when he’s born.

“That was relayed to me from Harry, that was from conversations that family had with him. It was really hard to see those as compartmentalised conversations,” she added.

Meanwhile, Jeremy and Piers had long been enemies before they decided to bury the hatchet last year when they recorded a special Christmas episode of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? together.

The former Good Morning Britain host revealed how his former nemesis sent him a touching message of support when he was told to “apologise” or quit his role on ITV, after he publicly stated he disbelieved Meghan’s claims during her Oprah interview.

Piers stormed off the programme following a verbal confrontation with weatherman Alex Beresford, and quit the show after he refused to back down on his strong opinions.
