Edwina Currie, 73, will take to the infamous hot seat and will be quizzed by John Humphrys on her specialist subject of American British politician Lady Nancy Astor. But how did the Edwina meet her husband, John Jones?
How did Edwina meet husband, John Jones?
Edwina and husband John Jones are reported to have met when while Edwina interviewed him as part of her BBC Radio Five Live, Late Night Currie show.
At the time her now-husband was a detective in the Metropolitan Police.
Edwina revealed the story of how they first met to The Mirror.

Edwina told the publication: “There’s a great story to how we met.
“John was a detective in London, and I interviewed him over the phone for my radio show.
“I asked him if he’d lost control of the streets of Brixton because there’d been some shootings – but I also asked him out to lunch.
When the pair met up in person, Edwina admitted to thinking: “I wouldn’t mind being arrested by you.”
In the past, Edwina has said her husband John is her most treasured possession.
In an interview with The Guardian in 2017, Edwina said her most treasured possession is: “My husband John Jones, former detective superintendent at the Met.”
She jokingly added: “He’s particularly useful when we’re watching detective shows.”
Edwina and John married in 2001, and live together in Whaley Bridge, Derbyshire.

In 2011 Edwina appeared on Strictly Come Dancing with dance partner Vincent Simone.
At the time Edwina told The Sun of how her training for the show helped her and her husband in the bedroom.
Edwina said: “I’m feeling fitter and healthier. It’s certainly pleasing my husband. He’s a very happy bunny.”
However, Edwina and Vincent became the first pair to be voted out that season.
In an interview with The Mirror, Edwina spoke of how she kept up her newfound dancing skills with John.
Edwina told the publication in 2015: “My husband John and I carried on with our dancing for two years until he was diagnosed with cancer.
In a later interview with The Mirror, Edwina spoke of how she stood by his side.
Edwina said: “Oh, the trials and tribulations of getting older.
“It was the first time John had ever been in hospital, aged 70.
“I had to stop him making sexist remarks to the nurses.
She added: “It was like you were in the middle of Carry On Doctor, and it was usually while some poor lass had her finger up your backside. It wasn’t ideal, dear.”
