Gaz Beadle gives update on wifes health: Hardest thing our family will ever go through
Gaz Beadle has shared another update on his wife Emma McVey's health condition after her open heart surgery, as he opened up on the "hardest thing" his family has ever gone through.
The former Geordie Shore star, who shares two children with Emma and is married to her, has been tasked with managing everything at home without her this week after she was rushed into hospital to have two holes fixed and a valve mended in her heart.
The 34 year old reality TV star has been keeping his fans updated along the way, and has now revealed just how tough it's been to deal with the day to day.
"Think it’s very important on here to always show the hard times not just the good stuff… this is the hardest thing our family will ever go through," he told his followers honestly in a new post on Instagram.
"Kids have been so brave but also cried and been emotional wrecks at bed times and mornings and just missing mummy like crazy…
"Emma even with today the news 1 of her lungs has collapsed and is now on oxygen to help bring it back over the weekend, hasn’t stopped her 1 bit," the proud husband continued, as he praised his wife.
"Today when i went in for the hour we get as it clashes with school pick up she was up and walking to the toilet herself, which is just amazing and she is just smashing it and we are so proud!
"Always messaging in between sleeping checking on the kids checking they have gone to sleep ok checking how there day has been honestly love you so much what a mummy and wife u are."
Gaz went on to say that as a family they survived the first week and the kids are as "happy as they can" with a visit to the hospital planned for this weekend.
"We are super excited about our big trip to the hospital…" Gaz finished. "I am off to bed 8:45 on a Friday. Big weekend ahead and hopefully mid next week we get Emma home."
Alongside his extensive update, Gaz also shared a series of snaps chronicling the journey.
In one picture, Gaz captured his daughter helping out with the grocery shopping, while another he showed the children making get well soon cards for Emma.
Gaz also posted a selfie with his beloved wife as she managed to sit up in a chair following recovery.
Emma was wearing pink pyjamas, and had an oxygen mask on her face, but still managed to smile as she clutched a towel to her chest.
On the table sat Dairy Milk buttons and Haribo sweets as Gaz continued to support his wife through her hospital stay.
It comes as Gaz last gave an update after Emma was out of surgery earlier this week, and he reassured his fans that everything had "gone to plan".
"Hey guys just to let you know @emma_jane1392 surgery went amazing and all to plan," he began. "They fixed the valve without having to have a replacement and the large hole was fixed and also the other 2 smaller holes, she is awake and in recovery…
"In a lot of pain but talking and good… now it's about recovery and making sure she gets back to full fitness over the next few months.
The reality TV star added: "Thank you to everyone who has been messaging."
