Lucy Alexander, 51, was more than fed up after finding out her boiler had packed up. Annoying at the best of times, the former Homes Under The Hammer star was less than impressed, especially after a long day.
In bed 8pm as it’s the warmest place
Taking to Twitter to share her despair, Lucy penned: “When you run a bath after a long day and it’s COLD.
“Then you find out the boiler isn’t working & the heatings b******d… THAT.”
“In bed 8pm as it’s the warmest place. Night.”
Fans rushed to the comments section to share some advice with the TV star, with one saying: “For wat its worth. check your system pressure if u have one in the boiler!”(sic)
“I once tried to fill a bath using a kettle and sauce pans. Gave up after a while…” another joked.
A third sent their well wishes: “Night, hope you can get it fixed quickly! Especially this time of year!”
“Aw no that’s not good hope you get it fixed & there nothing like going to bed where it warm love and hugs,” said a fourth.
A fifth added: “Oh no!!!… Get boiling that kettle!”
Elsewhere, Lucy shared her surprise and excitement after her old TV co-host Martin Roberts, finally announced his latest venture.
The property expert revealed as he’s set to appear on Strictly: The Real Full Monty later this year.
The BBC star will take his kit off alongside a host of other celebrities to raise awareness of cancer.
The striptease will be held in in Blackpool in front of thousands of spectators and the risque routine, created by Diversity’s Ashley Banjo, will be shown on ITV at Christmas.
In response to his video, Lucy was among the first to reply.
“So for years we’ve talked about damp patches, cracks & semi’s…” she cheekily wrote on Twitter about their time on the property show.
“Now he’s finally got the chance to shine.
“@TVMartinRoberts my old TV husband I cannot wait to see you in #thefullmonty all for a worthy cause & fab charity, leopard thong?”
She added: “Omg I’m scared! But I know you’ll kill it.”
Martin has been teasing his fans about the project for months, and finally unveiled the details behind the charity striptease in his latest social media video.
He opened up about his reasons for taking part in the fun charity initiative, explaining he’s doing it in order to honour his best friend Dave, who sadly died of bowel cancer four and a half years ago at the same age.
Martin concluded his video urging people to go to the doctor if they notice any worrying symptoms or signs before holding up a leopard print thong, which could be – and Lucy certainly believes is – a potential sneak peek of what’s in store for the ITV special.
