Khloe Kardashian admitted I’m A Celeb’s Caitlyn ‘is much more fun than before’
I'm A Celebrity's Caitlyn Jenner has revealed in camp that she hadn't spoken to stepdaughter Khloe Kardashian for five years but it wasn't always like that.
The 70-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star told her fellow campmates that Khloe was “p***ed off during the transition” and had led them to not being in touch for many years.
Caitlyn admitted that she didn't know what the now 35-year-old's reality TV star "issues" are but Khloe reportedly thinks her decision to become Caitlyn broke a deathbed promise to her biological dad Robert to “always take care of them.”
There was a time though when Khloe was in a more positive mood about Caitlyn.
Speaking to Redbook in 2015, Khloe said that they were working through their issues then.
Khloe claimed the transition had nothing to do with her reasons to be having beef with Caitlyn and even claimed that she was more fun than when she was Bruce.
Khloe said: "It was difficult for me that Bruce wasn't honest with me. The transition had nothing to do with it. I love Caitlyn.
"She still likes us to call her our dad, but it's hard when, you know, Dad's now wearing a dress.
"She'll have a glass of wine. Bruce would never do that."
Following her split from Kris in 2013, Caitlyn began secretly having surgical procedures.
But Khloe claimed Caitlyn had refused to tell them the truth about her new identity and that she let them find out through the media.
Khloe told The Ellen DeGeneres Show: “We kept asking him, ‘Bruce, like what’s going on? We’re hearing all these rumours?’ and he kept telling us one thing but really he knew he was transitioning and wouldn’t be honest with us.”
Caitlyn is said to have reacted to the outburst with a string of angry messages, but Khloe was unapologetic for the things she said.
This has led to the pair maintaining radio silence between them and there doesn't seem to be any light at the end of the tunnel that will bring them together again.
