Mark Labbett, 56, has taken to Instagram to apologise to fans after showing up late to a gig he performed. The Chase ran into trouble after his first commitment “overran massively”.
I”m so sorry to the people at the Electrik Club in Liverpool that I was late.
The Beast star reached out to his 24,900 followers to express his apologies.
The caption for the video read: “Apologies to the Electrik Club in Liverpool, my first gig massively overran 🙁 #meaculpa.”
In the video, Mark said: “I”m so sorry to the people at the Electrik Club in Liverpool that I was late.
“My first gig of the evening overran massively. I tried to get out as quickly as I can.
“Really sorry but glad to meet so many of you.”
Fans were quick to show their support for Mark and offer their understanding.
Clare.Hampton said: “I think everything is on its a**e at the minute, I wouldn’t worry too much Mark. Just chill nobody will be mad, it’s just life.”

This is not the first time Mark has spoken up this week, however.
Mark shared a snap of his drastic weight loss.
He was seen dressed up in a black suit with a red tie, as he posed for snaps alongside a friend.
Ahead of hitting the red carpet, he shared a picture from his hotel room.
The 56-year-old wrote: “Off to the ITV Palooza in my shiny new jacket.
“I scrub up well 🙂 thanks to @vtrilling for being a great wardrobe mistress x.”
Many of his followers were quick to notice his slimmer physique and complimented the star.
Lynda Angus commented: “Looking good.”
“Wow you look amazing,” Chatty Mand added.
WelshDave81 wrote: “Wow. Done so well.”
In August, the chaser revealed he had lost 10 stone after changing his diet.
The Chase continues tomorrow at 5pm on ITV.
