After being trolled over her weight in 2020, Molly-Mae Hague has started off 2021 by embarking on a health kick.

The reality star, who was criticised for not wearing a mask while flying to the Maldives, took to her Instagram stories to tell her followers about her new mission.

Opting to hone in on her nutrition, the blonde beauty posted a video of a box of food consisting of chicken, rice and vegatables.

Alongside it, the 21 year old said: "Health kick in full swing," while also tagging the company @GainzHealthKitchen.

As well as that, Molly-Mae showed off an array of food boxes which have been prepped for her to eat over the next few weeks.

She wrote: "What my week looks like….. @GainzHealthKitchen."

The Love Island star was criticised for her weight while on holiday with boyfriend Tommy Fury over the summer.

Just weeks later, in one of her YouTube vlogs, Molly said she was embarking on a strict diet plan, but insisted that it wasn't as a result of the trolling.

"I'm on a really strict diet plan at the moment," she told her followers.

"For breakfast I'm going to be having some cereal. I've been having the same breakfast for the last month.

"It's 30 grams of Coco Pops – an exciting breakfast. That's like a normal portion guys.

"I must have been having about 300 grams before I knew 30 grams was a normal portion," she explained.

The television personality, who shared a throwback snap of herself recently, went on to reveal that she wanted to get back to the body she had before going into the Love Island villa in 2019.

"I'm on this diet plan that's been given to me by this really great guy that specialises in body transformations and I'm just really trying to get back to my pre-Love Island body.

"Before anyone says 'the trolling has made her want to lose weight', no, this has been an ongoing struggle for me literally in the last year since coming out of the show," she clarified.
