NBC News chief Andy Lack and wife Betsy have split up
NBC News chief Andy Lack and wife Betsy Kenny Lack have split, Page Six can reveal.
The couple, who wed in September 1992, separated earlier this year, sources tell us.
Lack, 72, who was brought back to helm NBC News in 2015 following the Brian Williams crisis, is now ensconced in a pad on the Upper West Side.
Meanwhile, Kenny, who left Vanity Fair in 2016, has been traveling coast to coast as head of global brand strategy for Snap Inc.
Since Lack’s return to NBC, he’s presided over the Matt Lauer scandal — firing the “Today” anchor personally after sexual-harassment allegations — and the Megyn Kelly debacle, in which the high-profile former Fox host exited NBC after defending blackface, with her $69 million salary intact.
We’re told the former couple — who have two sons in college — remain friends, and Lack supported Kenny when she hosted the Snap summit in LA in April.
They also co-chaired an NRDC event in March.
Lack was previously married to Pamela Goldman, with whom he has daughter Joanna.
Reps declined to comment.
