Rachel Riley Twitter: Pregnant Countdown star reveals how colleagues marked baby news
Rachel Riley and her boyfriend, Strictly Come Dancing pro Pasha Kovalev, 39, confirmed they were expecting their first child last month. And now the pregnant Countdown favourite has revealed just what those involved with the Channel 4 show did for her on her to return to work. The 33-year-old spoke out in view of her 642,000 Twitter followers yesterday, while sharing a beaming snap. She was seen surrounded by gifts as she said she’d had a “happy day” and that people in “real life” are “lovely”.

Wearing her blonde tresses down and straight, Rachel was seen in a bright orange dress, complete with embroidery.
An adorable baby grow could be seen laying on her chest, complete with a very sweet addition.
The white all-in-one was emblazoned with the worlds “Baby Kovalev” and a sparkly gold heart.
The small screen regular appeared to be sat outside while also showing off an impressive bunch of flowers.
She captioned it: “Going to bed with the knowledge that in real life, people are lovely!
“Thanks @C4Countdown team for my gorgeous flowers and to Kayleigh who gave me this from our audience… I absolutely love it! Happy days.”
One user then replied to her, writing: “I’ll bring your present next month when there!!”
But she said it really wasn’t necessary, replying: “No need to bring presents Craig, just bring yourself!”
Meanwhile, it comes just under two weeks after Rachel confirmed she was expecting on the micro-blogging site.
She said: “Pash and I have a conundrum for you… you have till December to work it out!
We’re over the moon excited.”
The beauty was seen standing next to the famous Countdown board with “RTINYMATE” written across it.
Much like the long-running game show, a word could be spelt using all the letters and in this case, it was maternity.
Rachel was quickly inundated with sweet replies, with fellow Strictly star Dr Ranj Singh tweeting: “Awwww!!! Congrats you two!!!”
“Wow! Congratulations to you both!!” Nicki Chapman continued, to which the mum-to-be stated: “Thanks lovely lady! Hope you’re doing well.”
Pointless presenter Richard Osman also quipped: “GANCINUORTSLAO!!!!!”(sic)
Countdown airs weekdays at 2.10pm on Channel 4.
