A PLUS SIZE woman has claimed that she was fat shamed in Starbucks by the barista who assumed all of the food she ordered was just for her.
Meredith, who is 25, took to TikTok and shared a video where she asked: "Was my Starbucks barista being fat phobic?"
In the clip, she goes on to share a story that took place about six-eight months ago and notes that "unless you grew up fat, you'll probably be in disbelief or not believe this story."
Meredith continues: "I went to Starbucks and I ordered a drink for myself and a sandwich for my then boyfriend.
"The barista looked at me – if you're fat, you know the look – she was giving a judgey mean girl look when I ordered the sandwich.
"I clearly said, 'can I have one of the bacon and Gouda sandwich?'

"She gives me a look and says, 'Just one?'
"The way she said it and looked it was like, 'Oooh fatty you only want one sandwich?"

Meredith goes on to say that maybe she was overreacting, but pointed out that it felt like the barista did it intentionally.
Nevertheless, she says she decided to put it down to just a "weird interaction."

Meredith continues: "I go to this Starbucks again and guess who takes my order?
"I ordered this time two drinks and I got two sandwiches – two different sandwiches – one for me and one for my boyfriend….
"Tell me why she pulls out one bag, puts both the sandwiches into one bag, then again glares at me and gives them to me."
She asks: "Have you ever gone to Starbucks and gotten two sandwiches and they shove it into one bag and they give it to you?"
The video has since gone viral, racking up over 1.2 million views and endless comments from social media users.
"As a Starbucks worker I have never and would never put 2 sandwiches in one bag," one person pointed out.
Another agreed: "As a barista for Starbucks, I can confirm that sandwiches NEVER go in the same bag. Even if they’re the same. I’m so sorry."
A third penned: "When she said, 'just one?' Should've asked her what she meant by that and made her think twice about the passivity of her aggression like fr that.
"Not overreacting totally valid.

Meanwhile, a fourth commented: "The first time? I would’ve maybe thought I was overreacting too.
