Coronation Street character Alina Pop first burst on our screens back in March of last year.
She fell for Seb Franklin, then vanished for the summer, but when she returned the next February Seb had moved on with Emma Brooker.
The actress has also been at the centre of a harrowing human trafficking storyline.
While Alina certainly seems to be turning heads on the cobbles, what about the actress who plays her?

Who is Ruxandra Porojnicu?
Ruxandra is a Romanian actress who was born in Bucharest on 5 July 1993, making her 28 years old.
The aspiring actress previously worked at Pizza Express before finding fame on the soap as she tried to save enough money to afford acting lessons.
Prior to joining Corrie the star also had featured in modelling campaigns, music videos and adverts.
One look at her Instagram will also show you that she frequently models bridal wear.
The human trafficking plot line
In regards to the human trafficking plot line, Ruxandra opened up on Instagram about how it had a heightened importance for her owing to her background.
She wrote: “As an immigrant, moving abroad with just £300 in my pocket, I could have been in this situation.
“It is a great responsibility to be the voice of someone who went through this experience and I truly hope this storyline will make a change and will bring awareness in our society.
She then added: “I feel so privileged to be part of such an iconic production! I’m learning so much working here and I’m very grateful.”
What does Ruxandra Porojnicu do in her spare time?
One look at her social media and it is obvious that Ruxandra is a big reader, frequently posting passages of text to Instagram, as well as poems she has enjoyed.
She uses her platform to support others, sharing information on Black Lives Matter and to assist eco-conservation.
Recently she also ran the London Marathon virtually owing to the coronavirus pandemic.
She did this in aid of The Salvation Army, which assist victims of modern slavery. Go on girl!
