Kate Middleton's brother James Middleton has announced that he has tied the knot to 'the love of his life' Alizée Thevenet.

The younger brother of the Duchess of Cambridge revealed that he had tied the knot 'surrounded by friends, family and of course a few dogs' on Saturday 11 September in the 'beautiful village' of Bormes-les-Mimosas on the Côte d'Azur in the South of France.

James, 34, who met 32 year old finance expert Alizée in 2018 and announced their engagement in September 2019, has also given a sneak peek inside the gorgeous home with their adorable dogs Ella, Zulu, Inka, Luna, Mabel and Nala and rabbit named Pretzel.

The entrepreneur posted to his to his 212,000 Instagram followers in August that he and his then-fiancée Alizée had bought a house together in the countryside.

Sharing a snap of the couple with one of their black cocker spaniels, he penned: "I think buying a house is up there with one of the most stressful experiences in my life.

'It’s been a hectic few months moving in to our new home & we couldn’t be happier. We are settling into our life in the country & the dogs [red heart] their new home."

James reportedly bought a four-bedroom Grade II listed period farmhouse for £1.45million on the outskirts of the village of Bucklebury in West Berkshire, according to the Daily Mail.

Bucklebury is also the home of his parents Carole and Michael Middleton, who own a £4.7million Georgian manor house in the pretty village, while his sister Pippa Middleton, 38, is the owner of the 70-acre Bucklebury Farm Park which is said to be a favourite of Prince George, eight, Princess Charlotte, six, and three year old Prince Louis.

James has given a glimpse inside the traditional property with his six dogs gathered for a photograph on the large stone fireplace which features a huge cast iron hood and exposed brickwork.

The founder of card firm Boomf also shared a romantic snap of his then-fiancée Alizée enjoying a cheese and red wine night at their cosy abode.

Taking a closer look, we can see that the living area has traditional black wooden beams on the ceiling and the couple have decked the home with homely touches such as a heart-shaped chopping board and a rustic wooden dining table.

Alizée has also shared a peek inside their kitchen to her 6,421 Instagram followers as she gazed into the eyes of their gorgeous golden retriever Mabel.

We can see that the pair have exposed shelving to showcase their stunning glass collection and have pale grey cupboards with huge windows to flood the room with natural light.
