Inside the Goop Christmas gift guide with $10,500 Chanel Sled and 11 Sex Toys

Gwyneth Paltrow might be an actress, but she is now becoming more well-known for her outlandish gift recommendations.

The actress' lifestyle brand, Goop, is famous for advertising bizarre products all which come accompanied by a hefty price tag.

Each year, Goop releases its annual holiday gift guide which provides present inspiration for various people in your life. Previous years have included luxurious treats such as a $38,000 mattress, and a private Yurt which costs $8,300.

The 2021 Goop Gift Guides are just as luxurious, and with 10 different personalised guides on offer, there's something for everyone.

The Under-$100 Gift Guide is first on the list, followed by The Lover's Guide, The Wellness Guide, The Host's Guide and The Forward-To-Your-SO Guide. Each include a host of gifts boasting eye-watering price tags, including a candle worth $75, and an espresso machine retailing at $825.

Other categories include The Kids Guide, The Cook's Guide, The Men's Guide and The Traveller's Guide, which all feature specifically selected gifts.

Gifts recommended for the kids in your life include a set of designer socks retailing at $240, a velour tracksuit for $230, and a sugar-free ice pop priced at a modest $5.

However, it looks like Gwyneth has been listening to people's opinions, and has released The Ridiculous but Awesome Gift Guide in with the 2021 edition. The guide's teaser reads: "All the things you can't believe exist – but absolutely have to have."

Filled with bizarre products, the guide features a $10,500 Chanel sled, a kids play area set for $32,320, and a masterclass where you can make your own Air Jordans, which costs $5,000.

Other highlights include a $33 a month subscription to a 'Psychic School', a garden hose kit for $307, and a smart messaging display worth $3,075.

We're not sure we'll be taking inspiration from Goop's recommendations this year!
