New app helps high-street shops go online during coronavirus pandemic
A new shopping website is aiming to save the high-street.
BeeZee is offering independent high street retailers and small businesses the chance to benefit from an online storefront and delivery service.
Using its app, shoppers can pick up local goods from the comfort of their own homes.
From toy shops, to electronics stores and bakeries, BeeZee allows you to browse your local high street for goods.
They can then check them out and they’re delivered directly to your door via courier.
The concept was created by entrepreneur Georgina Green, who has been a lifetime supporter of her local high-street.
After watching many of her favourite shops struggling and facing the threat of closure, she decided to help.
Georgina knew there’d be demand too – as shopping habits have evolved during the coronavirus pandemic.
Unlike other delivery apps that take a commission of up to 30% on sales, Beezee keeps the percentage minimal.
It doesn’t cost anything to join and you can try it out with a free trial if you want to.
