Doctor Jess Andrade posted on TikTik that we should all in fact be wearing socks in bed.
Now this has long since been considered a relatively unsexy move, but apparently it helps trick the brain into helping you get to sleep.
The doctor explained: "So let’s talk about people that wear socks to bed.

"Wearing socks makes the feet warm and this opens up the blood vessels that cools the body down.

She then captioned the video, writing: “I wear socks to bed so don’t come at me i'm not weird”.
So far her clip has been liked over 2.1 million times, however still this information has divided opinion.
One person wrote: "No, I can’t sleep with socks. I would never be able to fall asleep."
Another added: "I can’t breathe if I wear socks to bed."
However others admitted that they liked keeping their feet warm while under the duvet.
One wrote: "I feel sick without them".
Another sock fan seemed perplexed that there was even a debate, writing: "I was so confused. I thought wearing socks while sleeping was super normal."
