ITV7 tips: £50,000 up for grabs as Templegate delivers complete race-by-race guide to TV action
THE ITV cameras return to Doncaster this afternoon where they will take in the third day of the Cazoo St Leger festival.
Some £50,000 is up for grabs in the ITV7 – but you need to know your stuff to have a chance of winning.
Good news, then, that SunSport tipster Steve Mullen has gone through every race on TV, with a pick in each.
Read on for our man's selections – and good luck.
ARMOR scorched home to win the Group 3 Molecomb Stakes at Doncaster on the back of a good effort in the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot. He acquitted himself well at the highest level in France last time despite the 6f trip stretching his stamina. Richard Hannon drops him to his best distance here.
Attagirl took a step forward when landing a York Listed contest ahead of Caturra at the Ebor meeting. She can confirm that form getting weight from the colts.
Corazon battled well to land a Longchamp Group 3 last week and can have a say if this isn’t coming too soon.
John Quinn’s youngster TRUELY ACLAIMED scored at Beverley in July and has run well twice since with seconds at Redcar and Newcastle. She is on a fair weight and can improve again to land another success.
KETTLE HILL looks good here. Went close at York latest and has more to offer.
STRADIVARIUS did just enough to get back on track when winning the Lonsdale Cup at York last time. He won this race two years ago and should have ground conditions in his favour.
With Trueshan out on account of the ground, the others have a big gap to bridge with Rodrigo Diaz looking the pick after a good effort at Newbury.
FARHAN is my selection here. Stays well and there should be loads of pace on here to help.
Prince Alex was my pick here but he is an NR so I'm going to go with KHATM as a place selection.
Khatm is smart on the all-weather and was a solid fourth here last month. He’s got an each-way shout while Sevenna Star comes over from Ireland after a couple of good efforts and is down the weights.
GALE FORCE MAYA ran another cracker when third in the Great St Wilfrid at Ripon last time. She finished strongly there so the extra half-furlong should be ideal. Paul Mulrennan’s mount is off the same mark and has won here before.
Able Kane went close in solid company at Goodwood last time and trainer Rod Millman continues to go well.
Chairmanoftheboard had traffic problems when a decent fifth at Thirsk and looks fairly weighted.
Zip went close at Haydock latest and is a big price to hit the frame again.
