Bachelor In Paradise star Evan Bass reveals he's getting a VASECTOMY 'for real this time' after having five children
BACHELOR In Paradise star Evan Bass revealed he’s getting a VASECTOMY.
The 38-year-old shared the news and said it’s “for real this time” after having five children.
Evan originally intended to have the procedure done in March of last year, though it never ended up happening.
He shares daughters Bella, three, and Charlie, one, with ex-wife Carly Waddell.
The former couple met and got engaged on Bachelor In Paradise.
Evan also shares children Nathan, Liam and Ensley from a previous relationship.
The TV personality took to his Instagram Story on Thursday to reveal he is finally going through with the procedure.
He shared a screenshot of his calendar, which included a therapy appointment at noon followed by “Vasectomy for real this time” at 3 p.m.
The remainder of the day was scheduled with jokes, including “'Ask me anything Valium edition," "Release only fans live stream of snip for only 6 low payments of 59.99 plus shipping and handling" and "Evan out until 2026."
He captioned the photo: “Busy day tomorrow.”
Evan continued to update his fans on Friday by sharing a photo of himself in a hospital bed, writing: “Game time.”
After the procedure was done, Evan shared he was using frozen corn instead of an ice pack so that he “can use them for pancakes later.”
Evan first joined Bachelor Nation when he competed on JoJo Fletcher’s season of The Bachelorette.
While he didn’t win JoJo’s final rose, Evan eventually found love when he met Carly, 35, on Bachelor In Paradise.
The couple tied the knot in 2017, though announced their split in December 2020.
Back in June, Evan revealed that Carly had been hospitalized for an unknown condition.
He shared a photo of her on Instagram in the ambulance bed with her eyes closed, which he captioned: “Carly's first ambulance ride – she's gonna be ok and, my goodness, this brings back some memories.”
Hours after she was discharged, Evan posted another shot of Carly and updated his followers on her condition.
He wrote: "Thanks for all the prayers and support.
"After 9 hours we left the hospital but she's still in pretty rough shape and may have to go back.
“Continued thoughts and prayers are so appreciated. And she knows she's beloved."
Evan added: “I know y'all wanna know what's going on but it's her health and story to tell if she wants to share.
“(I did get her permission to share photo from earlier so you can relax Jan from Wisconsin.) In all the madness, she lost her phone and really needs to rest so it might be a bit."
