BGT ventriloquist Jimmy Tamley’s TV past exposed including win on ITV show
Britain’s Got Talent hopeful Jimmy Tamley left viewers and the judges in hysterics with his initial audition, with him now taking on the semi-finals.
The comedy ventriloquist welcomed Amanda Holden and David Williams to the stage to include them in his hilarious routine.
He fitted masks to each judge’s mouths, before controlling them and pretending to voice David and Amanda.
Alesha Dixon roared with laughter, as Jimmy continued to control them, with David forced to ballet dance and even perform a strip tease of sorts.
As David stripped down to his pants and performed for fellow judge Simon Cowell , he left him shocked when he appeared to pull them down.
But some viewers thought Jimmy looked familiar, as others recognised him from his years in the business.
Some fans might remember the comedian from appearing on another TV talent show many years ago.
Jimmy appeared on ITV talent show New Faces back in the 80s, alongside comedian Joe Pasquale.
He even won the show back in 1987, with Joe coming in second place.
Other credits of his include Sky TV’s Stand and Deliver, and Channel 4’s Big Breakfast.
Simon said he didn’t remember seeing an act like his since the show launched on ITV.
Jimmy was awarded four yeses and sent through to the next round, leaving him thrilled.
Viewers raced to Twitter with many working out where they had seen him before, as others praised his audition.
