Fans of Amazon Prime Video’s Original series Breathe will be pleased to hear the series is returning. Breathe: Into The Shadows marks the return of the Indian crime drama after the original series aired in 2018. Express.co.uk has everything you need to know about the new show.

How many episodes are in Breathe Into The Shadows?

Breathe: Into The Shadows is the follow-up to the highly successful Breathe, which was released two years ago on Amazon.

The series was the second Indian Original launched by the platform and became a massive hit with viewers questioning whether there would be a sequel.

Breathe: Into The Shadows comes out today (July 10) on Amazon globally.

The show is only available to Prime members, so you must have a subscription to watch Breathe: Into The Shadows.

In the UK, you can sign up for a free 30-day trial which gives you access to all the films and television shows on the platform.

There will a total of 12 episodes in the psychological thriller which will be dropped in one go on the platform.

Fans can either binge or savour episodes of the show, which has become an anthology.

Amazon Prime Video has a download function which allows you to watch shows offline without an internet connection.

Content can be viewed on a range of platforms including tablets and mobile phones.

Breathe: Into The Shadows takes on new case after a child goes missing and the kidnappers demand an unusual ransom: another life in exchange for the safe return of the girl.

Returning to the show will be Amit Sadh as Delhi Police detective Kabir Sawant, who will be trying to crack the case against time.

Joining the series will be Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan as Dr Avinash Sabharwal, who is pushed to kill in the hopes of getting his daughter back.

Other cast members include Nithya Menen as Abha Sabharwal, Ivana Kaur as Siya Sabharwal, Hrishikesh Joshi as Prakash Kamble and Resham Shrivardhan as Gayatri Mishra.

Amazon Prime Video executive Aparna Purohit said: “There has been immense anticipation for the show since we revealed its first look.

“We are excited to tease the audience with what lies in store in this emotional; psychological thriller.”

On the writing team for the series were Bhavani Iyer, Vikram Tuli, Arshad Syed and Mayank Sharma.
