In 2017, he decided to shave off his hair to a buzz cut which at the time he felt would disguise the patches of hair loss.
However, he started to grow his hair back and used products to make it appear fuller.
But it wasn't long till he came to the realisation that it was a lot of effort to maintain.
After some research, Mike decided to have a consultation at The Private Clinic in Harley St before going ahead with a FUE Hair Transplant Procedure.
How long does it take hair to grow after a hair transplant?
Mike arrived at the Private Clinic for a two-day FUE Hair Transplant procedure, which is around 1270 grafts extracted and used to treat the hairline and the crown.
After three weeks, Mike did experience shock loss to his crown.
It was not until six months post the procedure that he started to notice the results in the troubled area – this is very normal according to the clinic.
The recovery period for Mike went smoothly and the only problem he found was not being able to exercise which was part of his daily routine.
Mike has been documenting his hair transplant journey over on his YouTube channel.
