Eamonn Holmes leaves This Morning viewers blushing after asking 'pussy people' to get in touch

EAMONN Holmes left This Morning viewers blushing after he asked "pussy people" to get in touch.

The This Morning presenter was alongside his wife Ruth Langsford as they discussed people who love cats.

The discussion comes as Netflix releases its new documentary on cat lovers, called Cat People.

While introducing This Morning on Thursday, Eamonn said: "If you're a cat lover out there, we're going to be introducing you to the stars of Netflix's latest docu-series.

"It's called Cat People and it goes through the lens of some of the most remarkable and surprising feline fans in the world. If you're a cat person, stay tuned for that. I think cats maybe are often misjudged."

Ruth added: "I think they're often shown in films and things as bad omens, black cats and that kind of thing. They'll be here to set the record straight."

Eamonn admitted to being a dog person, saying: "Are they, because I think dogs are incredibly lovable -"

Ruth intervened: "So are cats, full of character. Matthew is turning his nose up."

Matthew Wright, who was sitting on the panel, then responded: "They don't like you, that's the truth of it. Dogs love you, cats hate you."

Ruth defended the cats with: "Cats don't run around after you. They do their own thing. I like that about them."

Eamonn then made the cheeky comment, saying: "And all your complaints to Matthew Wright or whatever it is on Twitter.

"Well, okay. If you're a pussy person, let us know."

Fans were left blushing by the comment, with one person saying: "If your a pussy person ermm what #ThisMorning"

A second said: "Love cats but ain't a Pussy person"

A third remarked: "'If you’re a pussy person…' Sniggers"
