GMB hosts baffled over missing Islanders as Andi Peters appears in ITV2 villa
Good Morning Britain host Ed Balls was left confused on Thursday's show as Andi Peters hosted a competition live from the Love Island villa.
During the latest episode, Andi, 52, gave viewers a glimpse at the incredible location in South Africa as he shared details of the property.
However, Ed, 55, was left distracted during the scenes as he wondered where the Islanders were.
Heading back to the studio after the segment, host Kate Garraway pointed out: "You're [Ed] intrigued to know where they all are?"
With Ed replying: "Where are they? Why aren't they sunning and bedding and coupling!"
To which Kate replied: "Yes! They may well be doing that but just not under our camera's gaze!"
Andi also took to his Instagram to share a look at the villa, joking: "The latest bombshell has arrived in the Love Island villa, what can I say?
"Oh hang on a minute, we must just be making telly…", adding: "I could have been a bombshell!"
It comes as Andi appeared in the Love Island Mallorca villa in 2022, revealing at the time the Islanders had no clue he was there and that they were sleeping.
Elsewhere, one ofLove Island’s most popular female contestants has reportedly been kicked from the show and has already left the villa.
The second season of winter Love Island kicked off last month, with Maya Jama replacing Laura Whitmore as the show’s host.
The drama-packed show has been trending online since its return with action including Tom Clare being “exposed” and Casey O’Gorman being forced to sleep outside.
According to The Sun, one of the show’s most popular girls was voted off last night, and she’s already vacated the South African villa.
The unnamed islander was forced to pack up after she was left single in the recoupling, with other cast members reportedly shocked by the exit.
The recoupling was announced in the final moments of Wednesday night’s episode after Claudia Fogarty, 28, arrived in the villa earlier in the day.
Love Island continues on weekdays at 9pm on ITV2.
