Kate Garraway has told of her horror after accidentally scratching a temporary car gifted to her by Peugeot.
The ITV regular explained during Friday's edition of Good Morning Britain how she had been extra careful during a family trip to the beach but still ran into a spot of bother.
Looking mortified, Kate said: "Peugeot lent me a car to get down to Cornwall with the family.
"I was so careful. I was like a paranoid beast and my dad is with me and you know what my dad is like Ben."
She added: "Anyway I think something happened in the car park as it looks like a cat as done that on it."
Kate went on to make a gesture of a cat clawing in the air."
Laughing, Ben hit back: "What a cat scratched your car?"
Keen to stress her apology, she continued: "Any way, something has happened to it.
"So I apologise for that.
"It was a brilliant car. I will sort it out I promise."
Taking to Twitter, one fan tweeted: "Good Morning Britain and Ben Shephard, is @kategarraway the most clumsy person on the planet?" before adding a laughing emoji.
