Jennifer Aniston didn't know who to text when she thought she'd DIE in plane crash

JENNIFER Aniston has revealed that she didn't know who to text when she thought she would die in a plane crash.

The actress, 50, opened up about her ordeal while chatting to Ellen DeGeneres on her show earlier this week.

The Friend's star had been on her way to Mexico for her birthday when she had a bad experience when her plane had to emergency land.

She revealed: "What happened was we were in flight, it was very turbulent, everyone else is calm as a cucumber, because they're not afraid of flying and it's kind of bumpy and sort of on a tilt.

"It's about an hour and a half of white knuckling it and then the stewardess says to me: "The pilot would like to talk to you," and I said: "I don't want to talk to the pilot."

She continued: "I sent one of my very calm friends to go talk to the pilot and then came back to find that we had actually turned around and we're going back to California, because we think we've lost a wheel. I was like 'oh, well we've got seven more, right?' And then everybody on the plane started panicking and texting.

However, Jennifer recalled that she panicked about who to text in that moment, but was comforted by Ellen's text, as the host was the first person who got in contact with her to check whether she was OK.

She said: "Everyone who I look for, for comfort and like 'we're OK right' has got tears streaming down their faces. They're texting their children, their partners, their loved ones and I was like who do I text and then because you can get texts in the air, you're the first person who was like 'are you OK?' and I was like Ellen, I do have someone who loves me!"

She added: "I couldn't believe how calm I became and everybody else was… Everybody's phone [was going off], so there goes the under the radar kind of secret trip to Mexico, then we landed and I sent you that picture of ambulances, fire trucks.

"We had to fly around for like six hours to dump the fuel, which wasn't occurring to me that might be because if we land badly it will explode."

"It just shows you how irrational fear of flying is when there's things you shouldn't be afraid of and then when there's actually something you should be afraid of you're not."

Cutting in, Ellen commented: "So that flight took you, because you had to go all the way back and then flew all the way to Mexico again."

Jennifer replied: "Well we had to, that was the plan, so we just decided to follow through with it."

Ellen quizzed: "So there was drinking going on?"

She jokingly quipped: "Well, in order to get back on the other plane… Everyone was like: "How could you get back on another plane?" I was like: "Listen, we just had to fly around for six hours dumping fuel, we all got pretty hammered, cause who knew what the end of this was going to be, so let's go out with some tequila."

Jennifer is currently single, after splitting from husband Justin Theroux in 2018.

While the Marley & Me actress has been hugely sucessful and is estimated to be worth around $200 million (£141 million), she has had a string of failed romances with actors, John Mayer, Paul Sculfor, Tate Donovan and even Brad Pitt.

Jeniffer was married to Brad Pitt between 2000 and 2005, when the pair divorced and the actor later went on to marry his Mr & Mrs Smith co-star Angelina Jolie.

The actress, who found fame as Rachel Green on classic sitcom Friends between 1994 to 2004, also confessed during her interview with Ellen that there is a possibility of a Friends reunion.

She admitted "everything could happen" when quizzed about a return.

She said: "Ohhhkay. Why not? You know what, because, listen, I told you this.

"I would do it… The girls would do it. And the boys would do it, I'm sure. Listen. Anything could happen."
