Kaitlyn Bristowe Asks Fans to Be Open-Minded About No Masturbation Challenge ’Bachelorette’ Episode

So, tonight’s episode of The Bachelorette is already causing some low-key controversy thanks to a clip of Katie Thurston deciding she’s gonna ask her contestants not to masturbate. In said clip, Katie tells Kaitlyn Bristowe and Tayshia Adams, “I kind of had this idea I thought would be fun, where the guys in the house all have to agree to withhold their self-care as long as possible if you know what I mean.” She then adds that “a little friendly handshake with themselves [is] off-limits.”

Katilyn goes ahead and tells the men about the news, saying, “I’m going to fill you in on a juicy secret, and it’s called Operation WOWO: week off, wank off. Katie wants to see which one of you can hold out.”

Which brings us to the comments on this ^ post. People have a lot of thoughts, including: “I love this season and Katie, but this is weird,” “such a stupid idea, where’s Michelle to save us?” “How is this gonna help her find a fiance?! This is so stupid,” and “these games are immature, the men deserve better.” There were also a lot of inevitable Too Hot to Handle comparisons, naturally.

Kaitlyn went ahead and hopped on Insta after checking out some of the comments, and said in a since-expired Story captured by @Bachelornation.Scoop, “Alright I know this is a lot to ask but while watching this Monday’s episode please have an open mind and also a sense of humor because just reading some people’s comments I’m like, wait why do people not have a sense of humor?”

Ahem, who else can’t wait to see all of this play out onscreen/on Twitter tonight?
