Naughty Boy seemed to struggle on Tuesday night’s episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! The music star made it clear he wasn’t happy after being voted by his fellow celebrities to do a gruesome trial. After failing the tricky task and returning empty-handed, Naughty Boy suggested he wanted to leave the show. On Wednesday morning’s instalment of Good Morning Britain, hosts Susanna Reid and Adil Ray discussed the scenes they’d watched on the ITV reality show. However, Adil took the opportunity to blast Naughty Boy for his reaction to the trial.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain, Susanna addressed the recent I’m A Celebrity drama.
“I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! saw Naughty Boy and Arlene both saying they don’t want to stay,” she explained.
Susanna praised her Good Morning Britain co-star Richard Madeley for offering up some words of support to the struggling campmates on I’m A Celeb.
“The soothing tones of Richard Madeley,” she remarked, with Adil laughing: “Yes, Uncle Richard.”
Susanna insisted Richard’s words of advice will be valuable for his fellow I’m A Celeb campmates.
She said: “Unless you read the Telegraph you may not know that Richard does an Agony Uncle column.
“Actually, his advice is brilliant as we know from this programme of course.
“He has stepped in to put a comforting arm around Naughty Boy and Arlene also said that she is thinking of going.
“So, they will have slept on it, we’ll find out tonight whether they stay or go,” the presenter explained.
Adil chimed in: “The reason why Naughty Boy wanted to leave was because the other camp voted him to do one of the challenges.
“He thinks they now don’t like him,” he commented.
Susanna swiftly added: “He thinks he got picked on.”
However, Adil objected to the music star’s reaction, saying:: “Right, but isn’t that the point of the game though?
“You know that’s going to happen?” the presenter remarked.
Susanna attempted to defend Naughty Boy: “I know and you sign up to something don’t you?
“But, when actually you haven’t had much food and you haven’t had much sleep…”
However, Adil interrupted: “You knew that was going to happen!”
“I know. I sympathise with him, you’re like ‘Well, he signed the contract and had the monbSusanna said.
Adil exclaimed: “You knew what you were signing up for, you’re getting paid, get on with the game!”
“Oh, that’s the problem isn’t it?” Susanna laughed.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues Wednesday at 9pm on ITV.
