Love Island’s Lucie and George are the latest couple brutally dumped from villa
Last night’s Love Island left things on a frustrating cliffhanger after Danny Williams and Jourdan Riane were dumped.
With two couples’ faiths hanging in the balance, tonight’s savage vote saw Lucie Donlan and George Rains axed from the show.
The pair were voted off by their fellow islanders who opted to save Curtis Pritchard and Amy Hart.
Amy, of course, left the next day on her own terms.
Surfer Lucie admitted she ‘knew it was coming’ when the shock dumping was announced.
‘I knew it was coming, there were too many people in that villa!’ she said.
‘We thought there was going to be some kind of dumping but we didn’t think it would be a double dumping. I wasn’t too shocked with what happened, I kind of expected it.
‘I had a fair run in there. I dated Joe in there at the beginning, which was amazing. I had a lovely time with friends as well.’
George said his time in the villa was ‘amazing’ and he ‘definitely made best friends for life’.
‘I was really surprised and I was hoping that I wouldn’t leave!’ he added.
Meanwhile, show bosses have sent in two new singletons to shake things up.
Francesca Allen, 23, and Chris Taylor, 28 entered the villa this evening and it already looks like they are going to bring the drama.
Love Island continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2.
