Love Island's Luis Morrison and girlfriend welcome first child together 11wks early – with tot weighing 2lb 4oz
LOVE Island alum Luis Morrison and his girlfriend just welcomed their first child together – a gorgeous boy called Romeo.
Taking to Instagram, the proud dad shared a photo of the little one looking snug as a bug in a cosy white blanket.
In the pic, the newborn could be seen dozing peacefully despite having tubes in his nose and mouth after being born prematurely.
Captioning the cute snap, the 27-year-old gushed: “Welcome to the world Baby Romeo! Romeo was born 11 weeks early, and can't wait to get him home hopefully before Christmas!” he added. Super proud of you already”.
Luis' gal Chloe Elizabeth posted the same shot of their adorable tot, announcing that he joined the world on 18 October at 11.55am, weighing in at a teensy 2lb 4oz.
The overjoyed mum went on to write: “My little trooper, you will never understand how special and truly loved you are. It still doesn’t feel real yet. I Can’t wait to get you home and be your Mam forever”.
Celeb pals were among the first to race for the comments on both posts, wishing the new family all the happiness in the world.
Alongside cute and heart-eye emojis, fellow Love Island star Abi Rawlings penned: "The name. Congratulations to the both of you xx".
While TOWIE’s Mario Falcone posted a heart emoji beside a short-but-sweet: "Congratulations".
Other celebs and friends joined in to leave their messages of congrats, and the fans soon followed.
Hunky Luis rose to fame alongside stunner Cally Jane Beech when Love Island relaunched on ITV2.
The couple remained together after the series and were the first Love Island stars to have a baby together, welcoming daughter Vienna in 2017.
They later broke up and got back together before finally calling it quits on their romance in 2018.
Since then, former footballer Luis got together with cosmetics business owner Chloe, and the pair announced they were expecting a baby this summer.
At the time, Luis shared a black and white pic showing a handful of assorted ultrasound images scattered next to a stuffed bunny, flowers and two heart-melting baby grows saying: ‘I love my mummy’ and ‘I love my daddy’ .
In the caption, he wrote: “2021 turned out alright then! Can't wait to meet you. Our little blessing”.
