Nadia Essex slams Love Island’s ‘poor’ Mike Thalassitis tribute
Nadia Essex has hit out at Love Island's tribute to tragic star Mike Thalassitis earlier this week, branding it "poor".
The 26-year-old reality TV star was found dead in a park near his childhood home in Edmonton, North London in March this year.
At the end of this year's launch on Monday and after the credits, a message came up on screen paying tribute to Mike.
Accompanied with a picture of Mike, it read: "In loving memory of Mike Thalassitis 1993 – 2019".
Fans were left in tears over the touching tribute, but Celebs Go Dating star Nadia blasted it for being "so bad".

She told the Daily Star Online : "It was so bad that I missed it. I missed it completely.
"It was only when I was on the group chat and my friend was like they showed it and sent a message to tell us what it was."
Nadia reckons that the tribute should have included Love Island star Sophie Gradon, who killed herself last year.
The ITV2 show paid tribute to Sophie during 2018's series.
But she said that she thought Love Island were doing a "really good job" with the current series.
"I feel like they're being protected and they feel safe and I think ITV, as it stands, have smashed it out of the park," she said. "I think there's a diverse lot, I think they're all diverse in looks and personality and I think ITV have done a great job so far."
*Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2
