Neighbours legend Jason Donovan hints at return alongside Kylie Minogue
Jason Donovan played Scott Robinson in the Aussie soap, Neighbours for three years before finding stardom across the globe.
However, he has now claimed he would return to Neighbours for a guest appearance if Kylie Minogue and Guy Pearce agreed to join him.
The iconic trio found fame on the soap in the late 80s, with Jason and songstress Kylie Minogue playing popular couple Scott and Charlene, with Pearce playing their friend Mike.
Next year, the soap will celebrate its 35th anniversary next year and when Jason was asked by Radio Times magazine if he would make a guest appearance in the celebrations, he said: "It doesn't feel like something I need to do.

"I have absolute respect for the show and what it's given me, but the problem with going back would be that the publicity becomes bigger than the moment."
In a shocking twist, he added: "If Guy [Pearce], Kylie [Minogue] and me agreed we'd all do three episodes, that'd be different because we'd be sharing it."
Jason claims that it's a similar situation to hit US series, Friends.

He went on to say: "If all of them come back, then it works.
"If it's just Joey, it doesn't."
The stars biological daughter, Jemma recently joined Neighbours playing Harlow Robinson.

Her dad said: "I am planning to go out to see her. I feel like I'd like to see the neighbourhood.
"It's a similar feeling to wanting to go back to your old school. But just for a visit."
Jemma is the third member of the Donovan family to walk the pavements of Ramsay Street, as her grandfather Terence also had a brief stint on the soap.

In the past, Donovan has previously said: "Neighbours is an incredible learning curve for any young actor.
"It's become an institution and I'm so grateful for my time on Ramsay Street."
