Paris Hiltons wild life – Nicole Richie feud, huge net worth to finding love
Paris Hilton started out as a socialite before becoming an early reality TV star, a successful business woman and even a DJ.
As well as being the heiress to the Hilton Hotel chain, the star, 40, is also engaged to multi-millionaire, Carter Reum.
Paris reportedly has a net worth of $300 million, equating to a whopping £230 million, after raking in a fortune with major endorsement deals and her DJ career.
Paris and her sister Nicky were born into a privileged world. Their grandfather Conrad Hilton founded the hotel chain. Their father, Richard Hilton, was a real-estate developer and mother Kathy Richards Hilton was a socialite.
At age 14, the Hilton family moved from California to New York City. Paris signed with Donald Trump’s model management company aged 19 and had a successful modelling career.

Paris then went on to star in reality TV series The Simple Life alongside her bestie, Nicole Richie, daughter of superstar singer Lionel. The friends would try to work simple, ordinary jobs on the show despite being the richest and most privileged girls imaginable.
But Paris' time on the reality show came to an abrupt end during the middle of the third series when Paris and Nicole had a huge falling out, leading to the show being cancelled.
Nicole reportedly was annoyed that Paris hadn't included her in her hosting gig for Saturday Night Live, and whilst neither of the women commented much on their spat, Paris told People magazine: "It's no big secret that Nicole and I are no longer friends. Nicole knows what she did, and that's all I'm ever going to say about it."

Nicole also said: "We just grew apart. It turned into a much bigger thing than it is."
Paris moved on to bigger and better things, as a then-unknown Kim Kardashian became Paris' stylist and closet organizer during The Simple Life, which set her on the road to fame.
She also traded on the notoriety around a leaked sex tape to become one of the most papped global celebrities of the Noughties.
Paris has also built her own successful business empire, Paris Hilton Entertainment.
Speaking to DuJour magazine in 2014, Paris admitted she isn’t surprised that people often consider her to be “dumb”.

“People assumed that’s who I really was. Now they meet me and realise I’m completely different. But it doesn’t bother me that people thought I was dumb.
“Playing that character made life easier—I do have a certain amount of shyness, which I’m sure is a surprise to people. And I’ve never cared what people think about me—I know the truth. I’ve always known what I was capable of.”
Paris is also an author, having published her book, Confessions of an Heiress, in 2004, along with releasing her own line of perfumes, handbags and hair extensions.

She’s even a successful DJ and has played at festivals, including Summer Fest and Tomorrow Land, and earlier this year she released her own documentary on YouTube, This Is Paris, which received more than 23 million views.
Paris also had a short lived pop career, and her 2006 single Stars Are Blind was recently used in the Carey Mulligan film Promising Young Woman. She even appeared in horror film remake House of Wax in the mid-Noughties, where her character met a grisly end.
Paris Hilton’s fiancé, Carter Reum, 40, is an entrepreneur and multi-billionaire. He has set up an investment firm as well as creating his own all-natural vodka brand, VEEV Spirits, with his brother.
After dating for a year, Carter proposed to Paris on her 40th birthday while on holiday at a private island.
