But despite the famous Strictly curse, Max's latest post is a sweet reminder that he only has eyes for Stacey.
The Sun exclusively revealed that Stacey was so afraid of the Strictly curse she told her pop star fella Max to make sure he was not partnered with a sexy single dancer.
The 41-year-old told The Wanted hunk that she wanted to know which pro he would be hitting the dance floor with.
Insiders at the hit BBC show said Stacey admitted she was desperate for Max, 32, to be teamed with a married dancer with a “good reputation”.
Stacey, whose ten-year marriage to ex-Manchester United ace Ryan was marred by cheating, was said to be terrified history would repeat itself.
A source said: “Stacey made it crystal clear she wanted to know who Max would be partnered with from the start.
“It became well known early on that she was incredibly nervous about who he would be paired with. Stacey said she wanted someone with a good reputation and said the curse had played on her mind.
“He has assured her he isn’t going to run off with a dancer and that he only has eyes for her but it’s still made her feel uneasy.”
Before the axe, Max installed a WhatsApp portal in his flat to video call home and to put girlfriend at ease.
He told The Sun: “It’s like a little TV screen, I’ve got a portal and it’s HD and it follows you around the room so wherever I walk it follows me.
“I turn that on so it’s like I’m there. Eyes on me.
“I’ve got security cameras. So it’s like a dog cam, so whenever me dog wakes up in the middle of the night I get little videos so I can see what he’s up to."
