This Morning viewers were left slightly baffled on Tuesday morning, as Scotland's strongest woman appeared on the programme tasked with crushing three watermelons between her thighs.

The segment was an attempt to beat the Guinness World Record holder, Olga Liashchuk, who managed to smash three melons in just 14.75 seconds.

Olga appeared on the show in 2015 to show off her watermelon smashing skills.

But now it looks like there could be a new world record in the pipeline, as the Scotswoman managed it in less than 14 seconds.

Presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby explained that she'd have 14.65 seconds to attempt the record – but a whopping 1.52 seconds were left on the clock by the time all three melons had been crushed.

They warned viewers not to try the feat out at home.

"That was amazing, well done!" Holly congratulated once the melon husks lay strewn about.

Phillip commented that a lot of time was actually wasted, as her thighs had to be wiped down in between each melon so that the subsequent fruits didn't slip out.

"You should have some kind of leg pads," he suggested with a giggle.

But viewers were left baffled, as they flocked to Twitter to comment: "'Please don't try this at home'. Oh yeah I was planning to buy a load of watermelons and squash them between my thighs!"

Someone else laughed: "Definitely not something everyone can relate to!"
