Bondi hotel linked to at least 10 infections

At least 10 cases have been linked to a COVID-19 cluster at a pub in Sydney’s east.

NSW Health said at least 10 COVID-19 cases either attended the Tea Gardens Hotel in Bondi Junction while infectious or acquired their infections at the venue on October 23.

Anyone who attended the pub that night from 7.30pm until closing is considered a casual contact and must immediately get tested and isolate until a negative result is received.

The Office of Liquor and Gaming will now review the pub’s compliance with COVIDSafe measures, NSW Health said in a statement.
