North Dakota cops are looking for an ax-wielding vandal who was caught on video smashing the windows of Sen. John Hoeven’s office.

The Fargo Police Department released surveillance video Tuesday showing the man — dressed in a dark-colored jacket, jeans and a mask — walk up a staircase toward Hoeven’s office.

The man then can be seen taking several swings at the windows before walking away.

The Republican senator’s office reported the vandalism to police on Monday.

“We reported it and appreciate the dedicated work of our law enforcement,” a Hoeven spokesman told The Hill.

Cops have not identified the suspect, but said detectives will complete a report and forward it to the Cass County State’s Attorney’s Office.
