BBC Weather forecaster Tomaz Schafernaker said the west of Europe will be hit by heavy rain. This weather front will move across Europe and settle in the southwest region. These weather fronts are expected to cause severe weather conditions for Greece.
The weather forecaster said Greece and its surrounding islands could see 200mm of rain as well.
Mr Schafernaker said: “It is full-on Autumn across western parts of Europe.
“There are weather fronts coming off the Atlantic bringing spells of heavy rain and some strong winds too.
“It has been very wet across the south of France as well around Italy and Switzerland as well.

“All of this weather is moving further eastwards and it is going to be affecting the Balkans over the next couple of days.”
The BBC Weather forecaster noted how extensive the wet weather will be in this region as the week goes on.
Temperatures will remain down as well with Athens seeing the highest temperature of 24C and Istanbul getting as low as 19C.
The forecaster continued: “Wednesday is not looking too bad, in fact, there is some sunshine around the bulk of the area.

“But by the time we get to Thursday these storms will intensify and the rain will become heavy.”
He added: “You can see some bright green colours quite close to Greece.
“That indicates some torrential rain, in fact, in the west of Greece on Thursday and beyond we could see an excess of 200mm rain.
“So there is likely to be some severe weather there in the next few days.”
