Sick child killer Nyomi Fee has secretly proposed to a transgender murderer behind bars.
The 32-year-old, who abused her two-year-old stepson before ending his life in 2014, marched into Alex Stewart's cell on Christmas Day to pop the question, the Daily Record 's prison sources say.
Stewart who identifies as a woman, met Fee at Greenock prison where she is serving at least 19 years for knifing dad-of-two John Weir, 36, at his flat in 2012 – hours after they met on a dating site.
According to insiders, Fee bought her lover a ring with recent inheritance money but has made no mention of divorcing her civil partner.

Rachel Trelfa, 34, was also convicted with Fee of Liam’s murder in 2016, at the High Court in Livingston.
The evil pair had subjected the tot to a horrific campaign of abuse and neglect, including chaining him to a cage in a room full of snakes and rats.
Fee was sentenced to 24 years locked up.
A source at the prison said: “They don’t hide their relationship. They’re always groping each other and sneak off when they can.
“She doesn’t have many friends but Alex is popular with the women as they think she’s really nice.

She’s not said anything about a divorce from her civil partner, who is serving a sentence in another jail.
The source added: “They’re not sneaking off and getting up to mischief but have managed a few times to be alone for long periods.
"The other prisoners are sickened by it as Fee is despised for what she did. A lot of people wonder what Alex is doing with Fee.”
A prison spokesman said they do not comment on individual prisoners.
