Cops find woman chained to bed and another inside burning car – manhunt launched
Police discovered a woman chained to a bed and another inside a burning car – with a hunt now on for the suspect.
Cops believe the attacker shot the woman inside the car and sexually assaulted the survivor in Cleveland, Texas, the US, on Saturday, September 19.
Jose Marin Soriano, 59, – who may be armed – was last seen leaving his property in Cleveland in a grey Ford vehicle and is still on the run.
The two women cleaned houses for Soriano and were called to his house after he told them he had revealing photos of one of them, according to the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office.
He told her he would delete the photos if she agreed to meet him.
One of the women alleged that he then pulled out a gun and sexually assaulted her.
Police found her chained at the ankle with a rope around her neck inside the house.

The survivor used Soriano’s mobile, which he had left at the house, to call 911.
She was afterwards treated at a nearby hospital.
The other got into her car but crashed into the woods across from Soriano’s home, Click2Houston reports.

The vehicle caught fire and she suffered severe burns.
Investigators also found a gunshot wound during a post-mortem examination.
Investigators believe Soriano swapped cars and is now driving a 2009 black Honda Accord with Texas license plate number NDD 7500.
