Donald Trump fan attacked with milkshake by Leftie mob says he was there ‘protecting democracy’

A DONALD Trump fan attacked with a milkshake by a Leftie mob says he was there "protecting democracy".

A horde of protesters was yesterday filmed chanting "Nazi scum" at the POTUS supporter before soaking him with the creamy drink shortly after Jeremy Corbyn gave a ranting speech in Trafalgar Square.

The man claimed he was peacefully debating with "moderate lefties" and "having a laugh with the majority of them" before he was surrounded.

In the footage he is seen shouting "here to stay" before chucking the cup back at protesters.

He then tries to take on members of the group and lunges at the jeering mob, as a lone cop tries to keep the situation under control, before eventually more officers rush in to escort him away.

Explaining his support for the President, the man said: "Because he's done more than he said he was going to do for America."

He added: "He's true to his word when he said he wants to make America great again."

It is not known exactly what happened to spark the flare-up, but he had reportedly been heard arguing with an anti-Trump protester about Parliament.

The grandfather later told MailOnline: "We have to put forward how aggressive the left can be – it's not us, you know if they want to call me right wing because I'm supporting Trump then I must be right wing, but I'm not a racist.

"I came out to support Trump, to stop the left who since we voted for Brexit have been protesting against democracy.

"This is the democratically elected president of the free world. I just wanted a debate with the sensible left, I didn't expect any of what happened.

"I never wanted it to get violent, but I wasn't going to be intimidated."

The Trump supporter earlier defended the President to Joe.co.uk, saying: "He [Trump] speaks the truth. And most women… Trump did say about the p***y grabbing, but men have done that over the years.

"When I went to school people used to say that… It's all part of growing up.

"He's still a kid at heart, I'm still a kid at heart. What's wrong with not growing up?"
