Google Maps users were left stunned after spotting a couple caught in a risqué position on a beach in Majorca.

The holidaymakers were captured by the technology giant’s cameras sunbathing nude in the Spanish holiday hotspot.

Their clothes were left hanging on a fence in front of them on the Es Trenc in the Fields beach.

The beachgoers had their bodies blurred out as nudity is not allowed under the privacy policy for Google Maps, the Express reports.

They were spotted by eagle-eyed users lying towards the back of the sandy beach, with rolling sand dunes ahead of them.

Google's privacy policy states: "We don’t allow sexually explicit content.

"Google takes a number of steps to protect the privacy of individuals when Street View imagery is published to Google Maps.

"We have developed cutting-edge face and license plate blurring technology that is designed to blur identifiable faces and license plates within Google-contributed imagery in Street View."

Google Maps Street View has a reputation for capturing bizarre scenes from around the world.

Online sleuths spend hours using the tool to stumble upon the strange sights.

A man was recently spotted pulling his trousers down to flash the Google camera. He was also blurred out.

Meanwhile, a ghostly figure was found lurking inside a deserted building in Chernobyl.

It was seen in an old post office in Pripyat, Ukraine, which was abandoned after the Chernobyl disaster in 1986.

The creepy figure was captured sitting on a windowsill with a long white cloak covering it and appearing to point a finger at the camera.

Some users suggested it may simply have been a small statue – but paranormal believers were not convinced.
