NYC swingers club reopening with COVID-19 restrictions
An underground Manhattan swingers club says it’s worked out all the kinks amid COVID-19 and is reopening — although some of the required safety measures could kill any libido.
The members-only Labyrinth club on Park Avenue South around East 26th Street will be taking temperature checks at the door and “constantly cleaned and disinfected throughout the night,” its website said Tuesday.
“Customers and everyone must attest in writing that you are not exhibiting any Covid-19 symptoms before entering the facility,” added the club — which boasts “bathrooms & showers on every floor” and “tons of play space!” on its website.
“We will be operating at 50% capacity,” Labyrinth said.
“There will be hand sanitizer, masks and gloves available for anyone who needs them.
“We highly recommend socially distancing whenever possible and some areas will be limited to a certain amount of people at a time.”
The club touted its new Tuesday “Cock and Tail” event, adding, “Come prance around in nothing or less.”
Couples who are members would pay $40 to get in Tuesday night, while single guys shell out $80, and unattached women are free till 10 p.m., then must fork over $20 to gain entry after that. Membership dues are $30 a year.
The club’s lineup for the rest of the week is described as “Anything Goes” Wednesday, “Big O” Thursday, “Scandalous Debauchery” Friday and “Swinging Kink” Saturday.
There are special rates for threesomes.
The club does not openly advertise its exact location.
“For last minute RSVPS or if you have problems finding our location TEXT,” the club says in online postings.
Labyrinth reps did not return requests for comment from The Post.
A City Hall rep said officials would be looking into the reopening of the club to make sure it is following COVID-19 rules.
The club allows members to bring in their own alcohol and is offering sealed snacks.
The city spokeswoman said 50 percent capacity is only allowed for indoor gatherings without any food or alcohol. Otherwise, the limit is 25 percent.
