Prosecutors have said there are "strong indications" Russian President Vladimir Putin "decided on supplying" a Buk missile system to Ukrainian separatists which downed flight MH17, killing 298 people.

Among those killed when the Malaysia Airlines flight headed from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur was downed on July 17, 2014, were 10 Britons.

It has already been proven that a Russian-made missile was responsible for the incident above Ukraine.

But now Dutch prosecutors, with Dutch authorities put in charge of the investigation, say there is evidence that Putin decided to provide the missile to Russian-backed separatists, reports the Mirror.
