Three mass COVID-19 vaccination events planned this weekend in Colorado.

Three mass COVID-19 vaccine events are being held this weekend and one event is moving Sunday because of the Artic cold weather.

All three events are invitation only, no walk-up participants.

Due to severe weather forecasted for Sunday, February 14, the 2nd dose drive-through clinic at Coors Field is moving to the Bruce Schroffel Conference Center at UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital, according to a news release.

UCHealth staff is reaching out to all 1,000 patients to notify them of the change, the release said.

Kaiser Permanente is hosting mass vaccine events this weekend for Colorado educators and the state’s senior population (70+), a news release said. Kaiser Permanente expects to vaccinate 19,000 Coloradans at 16 locations.

Centura Health will host the Pikes Peak region’s “first mass COVID-19 vaccine drive-thru clinic” this weekend, Centura said in a news release.

“The vaccine clinic, in partnership with COVIDCheck Colorado, a social benefit enterprise of Gary Community Investments, will deliver 5,000 doses of the Pfizer vaccine to individuals aged 70 and older who meet the requirements as outlined by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment,” the release said.
